Re: 4th gen seats
Not sure if the wiring is direct, but the bolts are g2g. Also, I read there is somewhat of a gap with the back seats.

Re: 4th gen seats
stanley, think you got enough engine there? Wowee, that must be a handful!
My 1999 Trans Am seats were direct bolt in but the bottoms are wider than 3rd gen seats. Not a problem unless you have something non-stock snaked around the seats. If you use power seats then you will want to grab the 4th gen cross-over harness between seats (also has the air lines for Trans Am seats). The 4th gen power seats need power and ground to the driver side. The rest of the wiring is integrated into the seats.
Also suggest you grab the 4th gen front seat belts with the seats for a better color match. The 4th gen seat belt is a direct bolt-in to the roof and eliminates the retractor at the floor (safer in my opinion). Here is a little photo story of my seat belt swap.

I have heard rumors that 3rd gen seat tracks are interchangeable and will set the seat lower to the floor.
