Steering column

Bought the wife a 92 firebird, but it needs a steering column. What years and models will interchange with it. Thanks, William

Re: Steering column

Had to replace the one in my 91 Camaro a couple of years ago. I found that most of the used ones had issues with the tilt and weren't any better than the one I was replacing. Ended up going to columnsgalore.com and purchasing a rebuilt one. For me, it ended up being easier and cheaper in the long run.

Re: Steering column

90-92 Camaro or Firebird should work if you have the correct steering wheel and air bag. This will retain the air bag function if that's what you need. Will also want to match tilt/cruise, and wiper functions if you want those as well.
