So I needed a tilt column for my "89" 5.0 TBI automatic Camaro and found one at pick n pull in really good shape. Nice and tight. no wobble . Even had brand new keys in it.
It really was a Miracle it was still there The car was pretty stripped...

Apparently he removed/bypassed VATS and I had mine removed at the "chip" level so no big deal.
Anyway it came from a "89" V-6 Camaro, Automatic.
Will everything plug in ok with the pigtails.

Nothing I should be aware of.
I don't want to fry anything.

The stock wheel is missing the center section/plastic but the rest is undamaged.

I will post a photo of it when I get a chance if anyone wants it.

So I did a lot of cross referencing with the parts on the column at AutoZone and Oreillys to see if they were compatible between the "89" v-6 auto and the "89" v-8 auto and they are.

I actually did that before this post but as the title says " Confirmation".

I still would like it..........

There are some differences within the same year due to things like auto vs stick and tilt vs non-tilt,.... but if the column came from a car of the same year; Your Good To Go !
