Window Regulator Issues

I have a 1991 Firebird with power windows, and have been trying to install a new passenger window regulator for countless hours.
The issue I'm having is that after putting it in, the regulator wants to be in the all the way down position when the window is almost all the way up, and when I try to roll the window up, the motor binds up and stops.
Any input on this issue is appreciated.

Re: Window Regulator Issues

Have you switched the wires? That or the regulator is for the drivers side

I have not switched the wires. Hopefully it isn't the regulator for the drivers' side, because th regulator I bought last time ended up being for the drivers' side.
