Not to mention the poor ergonomics.

I like the Mopar Pistol Grip shifters for manuals trans vehicles. This might be a bit much for me though.

Had that same thought honestly...

If it was horizontal, like the auto shifter, it might be more ergonomic. I put my hand on TOP of the shifter, and I do not hold it like I hold my gun.

Re: Gun shape Shifter ****

I used a Colt revolver grip fir the shift **** on my Jeep, worked pretty well.
I split open a stock ****, took out the threaded insert, then epoxied it inside the two halves of the grip. It looked pretty cool. Wish I knew what box it was in.

My brother made a machete and used a hogue rubber grip. It was better than a Gerber machete imo.

Re: Gun shape Shifter ****

For some reason I can just look at that thing and think "broken finger". I'm not sure why. It just looks like something that could break your finger somehow, maybe if it kicked out of gear? idk.

Re: Gun shape Shifter ****

Only if the the trigger clicks and the hammer moves!!!!!! But no, not really, no. My hand tends to grab at a different angle depending on what gear I'm in, so I prefer a round shift ****.
