Footbed Lighting Power Source?
I want to put some led strips in for footbed lighting in my car, I was wondering where would be the best place to splice into for power?
I am thinking of splicing into the radio this way the lights can't be left on accidentally(I know there are two different power feeds going to the radio and one is always on). I don't know much about this stuff but would I need to add a fuse or would I be ok without one?
Is there a better place to get power from or is the radio a good choice?

Re: Footbed Lighting Power Source?
Where to tap in depends on how you want to control it. If you want to put a switch in, then the radio ignition feed is fine. Personally, I would wire them off the parking lights wire from the headlight switch. That way you can't leave them on, and they come on automatically at night.
A fuse is always a good idea, especially if the light strips can't handle more than a couple amps. I believe the radio has a 10 amp fuse, and the parking lights a 20 amp fuse. The LED strips I installed recently required a 5 amp fuse, yours might be different though.
