Interior trim covers

I think i am missing some trim panels for the interior of my '91 firebird. Bought the car with the interior apart. I have everything except what goes over the seat belt assembly up top towards the roof. Above the back seat. Where can i get that? And whats it called so i know what to search? Also, is there supposed to be a console thing on the headliner? I see that everywhere but no pix in the cars. Any help is appreciated and maybe a pic or two would help also so i know what it looks like. Thanks alot

Re: Interior trim covers

The best place to find these items is going to be in a salvage yard, Today I found two birds with complete interiors and of course they aren't complete now after I got some things I wanted. The over head console was an option on our cars, Those are not easy to find, and most are broken and missing the flashlight that comes with them.

Does your car have T-tops? Contact beths91camaro here on the forum. She has provided me with a couple little odd interior pieces for my 91 Firebird. Great to work with with great prices.

Re: Interior trim covers

Its the coupe model. And ok thank you. If i just knew what all the individual pieces were called it would make it all easier too. Im pretty sure all i need are the covers to the seat belt assembly at the top.

I sent beths91camaro a private message with a link to this thread. She will help you out if she can. Good luck finding what you need.

Re: Interior trim covers

Front seat belt covers at the ceiling, or for the rear seat? I've got a 92 Bird we're tearing apart right now.
I've got an overhead console as well-would have to check to see if it's for t-top or hardtop. If your car had one, your headliner should have several holes in it.
Thanks, patriotic, for the recommendation.

My headliner has been torn out, before I bought it. And the seat belt covers for the front seats but they are on the roof above the rear seats.

Ok, I know exactly what you are looking for.
This is what the piece looks like.

Now, the problem with these are they don't have a slit in them to feed your seat belt into them. In order to use these, you would have to cut a slit to get your belt in.
They make new ones now, which have the slit and mount right to your headliner. See this for what I'm talking about.

Hope this helps you out.
