cloudy gauge cluster lens.

Hey guys. I bought a new 115 cluster today to replace my original v6 cluster today. Well while I was installing all new bulbs I decided to wash the lens to clean it up. Well now my lens is ultra cloudy. Any fix or am I going diving for a lens next?

Re: cloudy gauge cluster lens.

It didn't work at all, even used scratchx 2.0 and it didn't bother it either.

Thanks for posting your results, what will you do now? I am glad I didn't buy that stuff. Just wondering out load what might clear that lens up.

Re: cloudy gauge cluster lens.

I usually get great results from polishing gauge cluster lenses. Maybe post a pic of your lens and show us.

Re: cloudy gauge cluster lens.

10 mm bolt holds the speedo cable to the subframe in the engine compartment. A few minutes spent removing it and shoving some slack through the firewall saves a lot of aggravation.
