just need a few more misc parts and it will be done. All interior is done in leather from mercedez benz. And suede is genuine alcantara. materials are very expensive and is why it took so long to get this far. But when you open the dors it smells like mmmmmmmm leather.

Congrats! Nice customized interior with your fab door speaker pods as well as your double din. I am in the process of redoing my entire interior from grey to red leather. It took me a while to cellect every parts, and when I see such a nice interior like yours, I think I will take my time to do it right the first time!

Is Alcantara the suede feel?

Yes the alcantara haas a great suede feel and doesn't leave real noticeable material shifting like on the cheaper suede. And this has a better wear protection then the cheaper stuff. This is the same stuff used in the newer Audi, Ferrari, and lambos, that I have seen this is probely why they use it.

Nice job. That looks great. The stitch work, the matching gauges to the blue suede - nice subtle touches.

I'm personally not a fan of the exposed speaker look but I must say it kinda works in your car - unless of course you are planning on covering them.
