There is an interior light under the dashpad right by the center dash heater vent box that hangs under the pad in my 89 Camaro that is missing the actual light cover/lense. There is just a lightbulb and wires hanging down. Where can I find this cover, or what is the proper name of it so I can look on ebay. Thanks guys!!! P.S. there are no junkyards around here.

Most people don't even know this light exists... I might have an extra cover around here but should be able to find plenty at junk yard (me). I drilled mine out a little using the same angle and now it is much brighter and looks way better. Shines how I want. Let me look around for the original undrilled one. Someone else is sure to have them too...

That would be awesome rarebmx. If anybody can find me one I will gladly pay for it with a paypal invoice, hell, i'll even mail a check. Its one of the few interior pieces I have yet to find. I periodically search for "interior lights" "courtesy lights" and have never seen one.

It is to light ashtray area but I made the hole about 50% bigger and now it is a nice accent light that is wider around ashtray & Shifter.... I will try to get a shot at night.
