Re: Trans Am Guage Rings
its funny that they are so hard to get , a lot of the parts i got done on here are like one offs , aluminum door sills, gauge trim rings, fiberglass ac delete box , heat retained , and the stealth 10" sub box.

Re: Trans Am Guage Rings
I can still make them like the others I did. Rather do a few sets at a time vs. 1 set at a time.
motobooks, If you can offer then for $75 a set thats awesome. I won't be able to come near that cost.
Even at $30 a ring thats a good price. Is he finishing them for that price?( sanded and polished) or is that right out of the machine?

I think that is a crazy awesome price. I'm interested, but I need to see the finished product first before I will commit completely.

Re: Trans Am Guage Rings
They came out great, look a little different than the bnoon ones, but nice pieces at a great price. I assume the early dash opening are the same size as the later dash?

As I recall when I got my bnoon ones 4+ yra ago the 82-84 is a little different. I know my bnoon ones are press in and haven't moved a bit.

Re: Trans Am Guage Rings
Still making these?
They look very nice! And the price is right. I've been looking at the rings lately, but knew nobody was making them anymore. Plus, they were too expensive, IMO. But these are perfect. Glad to see something like this available again, if they are.
I'm surprised you didn't sell all the sets right away, especially for that price. If you'd had them(or some) made to fit 85-92, I think you'd have sold a lot more. That's what want them for, 85-92. Plus, you need to find a way to get more exposure so people know about them. In all my searches, I've found a lot of threads about the original rings, but I never saw this thread.
But hey, I understand, they're for your car, so good for you. Nice job on your dash!

Re: Trans Am Guage Rings
Those look good in the 85-92 dash bezel too. I'm surprised people didn't jump all over these for $75. It is $75, right? I don't want to mislead anyone by misquoting your price.
$100 always seems to be the magic number. Below that, people usually don't hesitate; they buy. But over that, they tend to shy away. So here's a product that people have asked for repeatedly throughout the years, it's very nice quality, and it's only $75? What's to be hesitant about?
I'm interested. And with this latest set of pics of the rings in the 85-92 bezel, maybe more people will take an interest in them.

Hey Luis,
I would contribute to the cause if you can get them. It would be a classy add on to my interior.
LMK.

Re: Trans Am Guage Rings
Oh, I'm down for this. After seeing how they fit the later cluster, these would look nice in my '89. I painted my cluster black. You said they didn't set real flush? I'm wondering if some light plastic trimming around the bezel would let them sit flush? It still looks good though and I want a set! Great job!

And another buyer chomping at the bit here too, i've been looking for these for years since they first appeared on TGO ages ago.
Don't put them e-bay, i want to be the only Brit with them

Re: Trans Am Guage Rings
I will be either using some thick adhesive tape for my post-facelift dash or remove the bezel and find a way to secure the rings from behind. This way I will be able to remove them when selling the car or if I get a keep-it-original-frenzy
