Car: 1988 camaro rs
Engine: 2.8l
Transmission: automatic
power seat conversion
just put a new interior in my car and the seats my cousin gave me are power and my car originally came with manual seats. any quick ways to rig up some power to them? please let me know asap.

You could run a hot lead directly to the fuse box and just ground a wire to the floor under the rug. I think that would be the easiest way to go.

What i did was run the positive wire to the fuse box with a fused link. That way its protected at the fusable link and easier to check and change. The ground wire i attached under the seat to the chassis and i used quick connectors so i can remove the seat. Very quick and easy to do that way.
