88 Camaro Ttop Headliner
OK. So I have a sagging headliner. I was thinking about just glueing it up with headliner glue.....or getting real pisssed and just tearing it down and going headinerless......pros and cons of both ideas please? Keep in mind, I have never done anything with headliners before and I have no idea what holds them up at the moment. Thanks!

Re: 88 Camaro Ttop Headliner
If you go the glue route make sure to buy the industrial strength 3M spray adhesive and remove the headliner from the car to ensure you glue it good, I reglued the headliner in my old bronco years ago and it still looks great!

Re: 88 Camaro Ttop Headliner
Unfortunately... My camaro is a convertible... so I don't know how to remove the headliner, but it should come out easy after you pull out all the plastic panels that touch the headliner, thats how all my other cars headliners come out, there might be some screws that hold it to the roof after you pull out the plastic, Your headliner should have a "backboard" peel back your headliner, spray the glue, let the glue get really sticky, and then lay the headliner back down on the backboard let it set up for a day or so that way the glue will hold it up better.

Re: 88 Camaro Ttop Headliner
Yeah after it sits for a day or so put it back in, be real careful, most headliners can be really fragile when they are out of the car! Make sure when you first lay the headliner down on the glue that you dont let it wrinkle! I used a small soft paint roller to help press the headliner onto the backboard thingy when i did it in my bronco... Make sure you take pics so we can all see how it turns out!
