4th gen to 3rd

I found a ton of 4th gen birds and camaros at my local pullandsave.
Does anyone have any luck installing interior pieces from a 4th gen to a 3rd gen?
Maybe the center console, or things like that. I already have 4th gen seats from a camaro in my firebird.
If they have to be slightly modded to fit, does anyone have any luck doing this?

Re: 4th gen to 3rd

The only 4th gen interior pieces I have NOT seen in a 3rd gen, are the door panels, headliner & rear compartment plastics. Everything else, including the complete dash w/gauges, has been put in a 3rd gen several times.

Probably won't be too hard if you use the 3rd gen top plastic hanger. But not sure if the handle areas, arm rest mounts & such will line up or not. I think people have done it, just never paid much attention since I like my 3rd gen interior. Just wouldn't mind some Q-Logic style kick panels. Cheaper to make them myself though.
