How do I hook up a power driver seat?

I recently bought a set of 2002 Camaro seats for my 1991 Camaro RS. The driver seat is power, and I was curious as to how I would hook it up. There is a wiring harness underneath the carpet on the drivers side, could I mabey splice into any of thoses wires?

The power seat draws quite a bit of juice so be careful of the +battery source you choose to splice to. If you have a vacant constant battery slot in the fuse panel, you might want to simply put a 20 amp inline fuse in the seat motor lead and add a male connector to the end of the same lead and plug it into the fuse block. Ground to the body. You can do the same thing if you want key on power too if there's a slot in the fuse block.

In your fuse block, there will be written BAT with an arrow pointing to what looks like a fuse slot, but actually has only one hole (as opposed to a fuse having 2 prongs). This slot will accept a standard 1/4 in male spade terminal (a standard crimp-on). Run a power wire with an inline 20 amp fuse under the driver side kick panel, under the door sill, to the seat and connect to the seat's power wire. Run another chunk from the seat's ground wire to any ground (there's a screw you can use under the plastic cover for the seat belt retractor). Done.

Using the BAT terminal alloows the seat to have juice regardless of the key, that way the seat can be adjusted BEFORE someone attempts to get their fat @ss behind the wheel to insert the key (like when my wife leaves the seat forward and I can't get in). I told her, you push the car seat back, and THEN I'll start putting the toilet seat back down
