clean carpet rip, can i repair it?
im working on my 85 iroc which im doing a fourth gen interior in. im putting in carpet from an 02 camaro and i accidentally cut off more than i needed around one of the seatbelt holes. has anybody tried that **** carpet repair stuff? im a little hesitant and wanna see if someone else has tried it first. if not, i guess ill lead the way. also, while im at it, does anyone know why all the fourth gens have different seat belt buckles for drivers vs passengers? i think its weird...

it sounds strange but you have to cut off more. first get some carpet joiner - its a take they use to join carpet. then get a large piece of carpet - you should cut off a larger area so you are not trying to add some little piece say 6 inch square. use the joiner - you have to apply heat - use an iron to do it. you dont notice joined carpet in a home and it can run the length of a room. it will not be noticeable. practice first.
i have done it before. my problem is getting the carpet to pay flat in the corners.
