What a half-*** response.
On subject, I don't know if you vents in your car are vacuum or electronically operated so I wouldn't be much help there, but the cold air when engine warm has me a bit concerned.
If It's a digital dash then maybe the controls are just taking a vacation and not operating the vents or HVAC properly.
Heater core could possibly be plugged.
Also make sure you keep an eye on your water pump and engine temp. In my girlfriends old car we couldn't figure out why the heat would blow could unless it was turned down low, then a couple days later we found out it was a bad pump not properly circulating water through the engine and heatercore. Unfortunately she didn't know well enough to STOP DRIVING the car when the temp gauge was all the way on HOT and seized the engine.
I seriously doubt this is your problem though. If the car is a digital dash it sounds like something just shorted out.

Do us both a favor man, and excuse yourself from this thread.
You've done nothing so far but mock both the serious posts in it.
Yes it was no **** that the space heater response was just a joke but you know what, it was rude that it was the only thing you posted to this guy who has a serious problem with winter approaching. It's a bit difficult to drive a car with the windows all fogged up. And the "Your welcome" line only added insult to injury. Had it been a quip thrown in after a possible solution, then everyone would have been laughing.
You know what the sad part is? I'd be willing to bet you know more about these cars than I do, but your doing nothing but being a smart-*** and I'm trying to help the guy. That's pathetic...
Put the smilies away BTW. They don't make you look cute contrary to popular belief.

Re: HVAC problems ASAP
There's a vacuum line under the hood that goes to the HVAC vent doors. It goes from the back of the plenum into the big wiring harness bundle behind the engine, on the passenger side. It should be pretty easy to spot, and should have a big round thing (one-way valve) inline with it.
When you change between defrost/vent/floor, there's a little flapper door in the air ducting that controls which vents the air comes out of. It's moved by a vacuum servo, which gets its vacuum from the vaccum line mentioned above. On the digital dash, there's also another vaccuum operated door that selects between cold (air through the A/C evaporator) and warm (air through the heater core). On the standard HVAC controls, the temperature door is controlled via a cable. To make things more complicated, the digital dash uses an electronic box under the dash to route vacuum, instead of the HVAC controls themselves like the normal setup.
Since both vacuum doors are not working, it's probably related to that vacuum line under the hood, I would start looking there first. Make sure it's connected, and not cracked/broken.

And yes it digital dash. So this electronic thing is located where? and could the switch control thing just not be sending the right signal? I need help fast.

Re: HVAC problems ASAP
My 87 GTA has electronic dash, when I slide temp control to cold the air stays warm, I slide it to hot it don't get hotter! It appears to be stuck in the middle, what would cause this? My vent selector works fine accept max(recirculate) it don't recirculate however the temp switches to full cold if I select a different mode the temp goes back to middle, I believe this means the motors are working, could it be the head unit? This head unit is impossible to find in the junk yard the only other car it was used in was the Cadillac Cimarron and I can't find 1 of them either, I'm thinking about trying the auto HVAC head unit from an SSE Bonneville any ideas?!
