Turn signal broken...

Left turn signal works fine, but when I click it up to turn right it goes all the way up, doesn't turn on, and immediately falls all the way back down. How can I fix this?

Re: Turn signal broken...

get yourself a new turn signal switch, it only takes about a hour to install with the correct tools.

Re: Turn signal broken...

Go down to your local parts store and get the tool. They make a special tool for this. it costs maybe around 10 bucks. Makes life so much easier. I did it before, without the tool and it took me(by myself) like 4 hours to remove and replace. Good luck though.

Re: Turn signal broken...

The lock plate tool does help. I would use two small screwdrivers to work the snap ring off.

Re: Turn signal broken...

i have the lock plate remover too it is just that the snap ring is the hard part i play with that thing for what seems like an eternity. really like 25-45 mins depending on how frusterated i get. the madder you are the longer it takes.
