Wanted Passenger Front Seat Lock/Recline Mechanism

This is for my 1984 Trans AM. (Think 1981-1984 or 1985 are same- not sure) Mine will not lock to hold bucket seat from flopping forward.

I'm almost sure the seats work with inertia,my seats (86 TA) work that way.

If you can't get the inertia pin to drop, try removing the assembly and lubricating it. But as others have said, it should normally move freely.
