"Camaro Camaro camaro" fabric
Bought this today from a family member who worked at GM for years. She's had this in her basement for years on her fabric rack. She worked in upholstery at GM. She kept a roll of this and made 2 pillows for my car out of it and that's it. Almost a complete roll of unstained or smoked around factory original fabric. Honestly probably enough to re-upholster a complete interior. Value is unknown, but I paid for it what she asked. She knew how rare it was and that none was left. I'm putting it out there to see if there's desire for it. Looking for offers. Or if you know someone who needs this, pass the info along. This should be put to use in a restoration. This fabric no longer exsist. Thanks guys. Please don't insult or offer 10 dollars for it. I have no problem keeping it if no one wants it. Maybe make some sweet custom things with it

Nice find you need to figure out how much yardage you have though , looks to possibly be a standard 54 incf roll that said all you need to do is roll it out and measure what you roll out .. example if you got 6 feet you got 2 yards . The regular fabric if you can find it is going for about 90 dollars or so a yard , the siegler fabric which is what you have is even harder to find , and probably somewhere in the 125 a yard range .one of the other more desirable colors would probably bring more . If you have 5 yards about what it would take to do the inserts for front and rear seats and the door panels i would say ask what you want . At any rate a really rare and nice find .

Re: "Camaro Camaro camaro" fabric
Looked back at the pic couldn't pull it it up earlier that roll measures a bit differently at any rate it would take one camaro section to do a panel you you would need 2 panels for each front seat 4 for the rear , and 1 for each door panel . So 10 camaro panels to do a complete car , if you have enough for a complete set it will bring more , if you have less just sale it panel by panel it would make a really nice banner to hang in a shop or man cave if you put a border around it or had it framed

Re: "Camaro Camaro camaro" fabric
It is a 60" wide bolt of fabric. It's 60 feet long so I have 20 yards plus of fabric. Obviously enough to do a few cars. So is it 5 yards to do a car? That would mean enough for at 3 to 4 cars. I believe it's the red dominant color but it does have orange and red panels in it. I had her make to pillows years ago for my car. She's had the roll since. No stains. No odors. Nice and heavy duty fabric.

Re: "Camaro Camaro camaro" fabric
Each section that reads camaro is enough to do 6 individual door panels , or 2 seat bottoms and tops . This fabric was used as an insert of sorts . If you look on ebay put lear siegler in the search bar it will pull up a set of camaro seats done in this style it will give you an idea of how it was used on are cars . But the bottom line you have a really high dollar roll of fabric there , i would say in my opinion well over a thousand bucks if you have the amount you stated . That said , if i had it i would have any amount you sale proffesionally cut , if you are interested in selling it as a lot i would try and contact someone like sms auto fabrics , tell them what you have send them pics etc. They deal with alot of nos seat fabric for all types of cars . Or contact hawks , steve the owner and bruce are always looking for nos parts and rare pieces for third gens . Im sure they would love to have this . PLEASE DON'T GIVE THIS AWAY IT IS VERY RARE AND VALUABLE

If you do decide to sale any amount of it i would have it professionally cut ,take pics with you of the way its used so they can cut it correctly . If you want to sale it as a whole i would contact sms auto fabrics in oregon , they deal with alot of nos seat fabric for all types of cars . Or hawks steve the owner and bruce are always looking for nos and rare parts for third gens . PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS FABRIC AWAY IT IS VERY RARE AND VALUABLE . That said i would possibly be interested in enough to do a car i.e. the 60 inch width of the roll and 3 camaro sections . Do a little more research so you dont short change yourself and let me know .

Re: "Camaro Camaro camaro" fabric
I'm thinking I'm gonna sell it in groups of 6 panels. That should do a full interior. Two door inserts and 4 seats. I'm gonna price it at 350 shipped for 6 panels. Based on info I've been able to find, this seems like fair for all.

Re: "Camaro Camaro camaro" fabric
Alright guys, I got some updated info. It looks like three columns worth of this Factory fabric is what's needed to do an interior. That being said I can pretty much match what SMS is charging for the aftermarket fabric remake and tell you this original GM factory for two hundred bucks and interior plus shipping. Let me know if I can help you guys out and thanks for all of the info

Re: "Camaro Camaro camaro" fabric
Honestly I would put the whole roll on that auction site online that begins with a e and ends with a bay. That is really rare and desirable for some one looking to restore those types of third gen seats. You'll sell it for what it is actually worth and get a high dollar amount since it is a valuable, desirable and rare part. I don't think that'll happen here or on CL...

Re: "Camaro Camaro camaro" fabric
Do any Aftermarket companies make this Fabric? I would love to find some for my Black Interior/seats.
I just searched SMS and their search function only goes up to 1975. I will probably have to call them to see if they sell it I guess.
