Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Thank you! I appreciate your kind words! Let me know how you like having express down for both your TA and Camaro! I try to design my harnesses in keeping with the factory color coding to make installation simple and I upgrade above OEM GM quality whenever possible while retaining a stock appearance.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Robin has just finished installing his express down kit with great results! He should be posting a video or two soon-I had been chatting with him about his kit tonight and verifying it through pics so you should see an update soon! Stay tuned.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Yes I did! Formula1LE has put a great kit together for us. Took about 1 hour to do taking my time and cleaning parts of my Iroc as I removed the shifter trim piece and removed the console. Fantastic tech help as I was a bit unsure of a few wires. A phone call and a couple of pictures and I had it working. Run time on my windows was 4.5 seconds both sides up and down. Now 4.0 seconds and the express down is a nice feature. WIll try to post pictures and videos tomorrow. Thanks for the kits and now to do the 1978 Trans Am next.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Okay, like I posted before it was an easy mod. Here are a few pictures. I did a video of the windows gong up and down before but cant get it to post. When you start you can feel a bit overwhelmed but a phone call and a couple of picture to confirm things are correct to the Tech department and it becomes easy. So that's what is lurking under your console when you remove the top. Next picture is the factory connections. Seems that passenger side on Camaros are Blue and Driver's is White. Take one wire out at a time and replace with the same color that is provided. Then cut the factory wires and use the provided Butt connectors and match up colors for each side and use the provided heat shrink to cover. Use the factory ground with the new ground and disconnect the factor ground coming out of the window switches. The hardest part is finding room for all the new components but really not that hard as you can see by the last picture is does all fit and you would never know it's in there.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Looks like a pretty clean interior! Good job on the install! If you have any questions on the TA, let me know! The OEM relays on those 2nd gens are obsolete but that's why I supplied a HD 70A main control relay with built in resistors and tamping diodes-its as stout of a control relay as you'll ever find!

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Here's a kit I just completed for another fellow member-this one is dual window express down AND up! Its got a couple more modules to allow for express UP but it will all still fit under the console.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Other than integrating the express down mod, I'd suggest greasing the scissor assembly and the teeth as well as the motor gear itself. Also, the rollers on the bottom window track can be greased too. I'd recommend a high temp synthetic wheel bearing grease-youd be amazed how much smoother and faster the windows are-then add the express down and "express" is an understatement! Lol

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Thanks guys for all the compliments! I have a few overseas harnesses to complete and ship out today then I'm caught up as far as 3rd gen express kits go (I'm currently working on building LH and RH 81-up Chevy truck express down harnesses)-so if anybody is still interested, PM me with any questions or comments! Thanks!

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Awesome! The biggest trick might be finding room under your console since you opted for express up AND down-lol. But seriously, you'll have the room-I made sure to provide long enough leads so everything can tuck away-just be wary of the racheting action of the ebrake assembly.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Yeah, those relays were a bit bigger than I anticipated. I'll get the shift plate off and see how I can get it all under there. I figure a few zip ties to keep wires in place should keep them away from the e-brake and shifter.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Lol....you have express down for both sides. Express down AND up requires a total of 4 modules. Thanks for the compliments! Everything about this for the 3rd gens I've now made 100% plug n play! Simply remove your OEM terminals from your switch connectors and use the supplied connectors to basically snap everything together. This way, should you want to go back to stock, its easy to do so!

Yours is shipping out today-I had taken a few sets to the USPS late Saturday but the overnight kiosk drop was locked....so, I'll be taking them over my lunch so you should have your harness kit by Wednesday at the latest.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Kit arrived yesterday, many thanks. Now to figure out where I'm going to hide the relay bank and the black boxes as I already have existing stuff installed in the console. Quality package without a doubt, looking forward to getting it installed.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Well, I have other vehicle applications for adding options like courtesy/radio delay off, headlight delay off, etc. So I am coming out with a 3rd gen kit for headlight delay off and its time-adjustable too....and the same principle can be applied to integrate IGN off radio/interior courtesy delay also with the opening of the door being the circuit disconnect. Its very similar to newer GM vehicles but with a completely independent harness.
I already have plug n play headlight relay kits using nice Delphi connectors (not Chinese crap) which adapt your existing harness and I add the 4-HI option for factory foglight equipped cars so I was thinking of either adding that option to my existing headlight harness or just keeping them separate. They can be ordered in any combination so it may not matter-just depends on what somebody wants.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Put mine in today, everything went OK. Just a little tight putting in all that wire and relays. I used a Heat Gun to soften up the harness(little cold here)but I got it done.
