Re: keyless entry kit looks stock
I am interested!! Back in March I got a crime guard alarm system, couldn't figure out the wiring based on the schematics they gave me. When I got the car back from the bodyshop in mid-July, it took me until 2nd week of August to get it working properly. Hell of a time dealing with the customer service of the retailer. So last week I get in the car to go to the store, get to the store turn off the key and the car alarm goes off as if it is locking itself. Get back home, start tinkering with it, the module screwed up the signal from the ignition, so I unplugged the ignition signal to it. Yesterday I am parking my car on the parking deck at my university, lock the car. Realized I forgot something, went back and opened the door without pressing unlock-forgot to- (power lock signal from module malfunctioning-tested w/ a meter), the alarm didn't go off. Needless to say I became real worried- whats the point of an alarm if not only does not not work, but malfunctions left and right literally lol.
BTW, i like the look of the key fob, makes it look stock- which is what I am shooting for with this car. Also, I was looking at the schematic you have posted, its primarily a key less entry, not theft deterrent right- meaning it doesn't sound the horn or siren, or does it? And yea I'm done ranting, feels good to get it out in the open. lol

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, instead of going with a 93-97 keyless entry, I am going to rip out the aftermarket alarm and am instead going to install a 4th gen 98-02 body control module.
