Re: Cargo/Parcel Shelf
Make me what you feel is a fair offer for it- here are the pics. They're labeled 1 and 2.

Re: Cargo/Parcel Shelf
Hi and thanks very much for that! I like the look of the darker black one the best. Are you sure they fit a Trans Am as I definitely would like one if they do. Do you have the fittings that they attach to on the car? Haven't a clue what a fair offer is, $75?
Again, thanks very much.

Not sure what the trunk lid piece is (I know, I'm so naive!), perhaps you can explain? Are the white areas on the photo's wear or rips? Am very interested, so how much? Thanks Beth, very much appreciated!

When you pull the sunshade open, it is spring loaded, you will have to attach it to the upper trim piece on the hatch. If you car did not come with a sunshade, you will have to find the piece that allows the sunshade not to retract. It is the trim piece when the hatch is open and you look up, it will have to slots for the sunshade to attach. So when you raise the hatch the sunshade stays retracted and raises up with the atch.

NO holes, wear or rips. Top bar is not bent at all. The white areas at the bottom are where a white fuzzy thing was wrapped around both ends. No doubt it could be removed, or just left there- I haven't messed with trying to get it off. $90 was what I was thinking for price.

See below for the explanation of the hatch piece.

Beat me to it.

Re: Cargo/Parcel Shelf
$90 seems more than fair, any idea what the postage to the UK would be? Have looked in the boot area today and there seems to be a slot on the hatch (I assume this is where the blind hooks on). No sign of any holes for the little fixtures the blind clips into though so I would need these. Thanks again Beth
Now, does your car have this originally?
Do you have the round holes already in your side trunk plastics? You should be able to see brackets behind there that the black round pieces the shelf mounts in screw into.
If you don't have those mount pieces, we can drill out the spot welds on one of the cars we have, so you have what you need. I do have these brackets available for sale.

$80 to ship via USPS Priority mail insured. Length is the reason why it costs that much.

Re: Cargo/Parcel Shelf
No round holes in side trunk plastic, I'm afraid. Perhaps my GTA didn't originally have the blinds fitted? So how much would the brackets cost? Beginning to get a tite expensive. My problem is that I get hit with a customs charge of about 25% of the purchase price. Give me an all in price anyway and Beth, thank you, you are very helpful and knowledgeable.
$180 shipped for brackets, mounting pieces, and the pull out cover? I know, it stinks that shipping is so much.

You are more than welcome! I love these cars, and I'm trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can. I was out earlier stripping parts off the two 86 parts cars we have. Not too bad for a gal, eh?

Re: Cargo/Parcel Shelf
Nah not too bad for a gal at all! Very refreshing to find a female petrol head! Okay, that's a fair price. On the level here, my GTA went in today to have all the techy problems sorted. If it comes in under budget then I will have the cover and bits off you. Will let you know ASAP. Thanks again Beth, top woman!
