I believe it may be an OEM pad. I know it came off an 84 Camaro because on the under side the yard it was pulled from wrote 84 Camaro on the under side of the pad along with the guys number I got it from on this board. I bought it from a guy on this board to put in my car. Unfortunatly my car was hit and I got a better iroc that already has a nice dash pad in it. Idk how you would go about repairing it. I don't need it so anyone who wants to take the time I could use the extra cash. Just out of curiosity tho how would you go about repairing it? Wrap with vinyl? Or I've heard people in the board attempting to rhino line it?

hey brock you in so-cal? i thought pre 85 looked different then what a 92 would? looks about the same as mine.. im honestly not to sure thought they sold some kits to repair those things but i am very interested mine is done

Ya I'm not sure if they were different. You would have to look into that. My car is an 87 and this pad looks the same as mine. And ya I know what you're talking about they sell dash pad caps that you can use adhesive to glue it down. Haven't ever seen one used tho. Just let me know if you want it. I'm actually in Central California. Kind of near Fresno but I can ship so no worries. If you are close and want to pick it up I can go a little cheaper... Just a thought. Just let me know.

Damn man I was just in Madera Friday to get this car. my car was up in Fresno area for 3 years that Sun tore this dash up. I'll do a quick search and report back on it. Thanks

Haha ya man California sun is no joke. Which is why I bought a dash mat carpet to protect mine from the sun and I also spent like $50 on a windshield cover made by Covercraft to stop the sun rays from damaging my dashpad/interior. It was well worth the investment imo because the sun is strong here in Cali. My dad laughed and said I was dumb for wasting so much money on it. But hey I wanna make this car last as long as possible so it's better to fork out the money now then to have to try and find replacement parts at a decent price later imo.
