What item were you interested in? Shipping on some larger items can be high because the price is based on size, not weight. Also, new UPS rates have gone into effect that has raised prices as well. I ran a couple small orders through our shipping calculator and all the shipping prices seemed to come out fine.

have to agree on the shipping. I think that many small things could be shipped by other carriers, like USPS , for a good bit cheaper. Base prices and selection are good though.

Yes, that is probably the correct price for UPS ground which is how nearly all of our packages are shipping. We can ship it to you through Priority Mail if you want for about $5.50 but it may not ship out as quickly because we don't use them as our regular shipper.
