My original steering wheel for sale
In the St. Louis, MO region. If local then no shipping involved.
From my 1988 IROC-Z. Pulled out last week for my new Grant GT steering wheel install. My steering wheel is the original as noted so it has the normal wear/tear from years of use/sunlight hitting it. It's got a cover on it and the horn button is with it.
I am selling for $50.00 cash plus shipping if I have to ship it out.
Thanks!

Re: My original steering wheel for sale
As for the torx screws they had to stay in I think for me to install the Grant steering wheel.

I saw this this morning and went "that won't last long" great deal! I've seen the horn button go for more than that

And no, I won't raise the price regardless of what you tell me. I am just curious to the desire of the item, that's all.

Re: My original steering wheel for sale
acutally, I thought you alreaqdy had it sold, or I wouldnt have said anything
It's an iroc horn button... more people restore IROCs than any other third gen, and those buttons can be hard to find in good condition if you are restoring a car. A good one will go for more then $40 on ebay.
or in my case, I hated my RS wheel, but put a wheel from an LT on it, with the LT horn button. Same shape as the IROC button, but no camaro emblem. I'd rather have one with the multicolored emblem. I thought about buying yours this morning, but decided to leave it for somebody that needed the entire wheel.
I would also have liked to have seen pics of what the wheel looked like without the extra grip on it, just for full disclosure
oh well, still a killer deal

Yeah, I always liked the multi-colored horn button myself. I thought it was a neat little addition to the horn button. My wife is getting the wheel right now and I'll post a picture of it with the cover off just so I can say it's done. But it's not perfect.

Re: My original steering wheel for sale
I don't think anybody is thinking they will get a perfect wheel for that price. I'm not an expert on leather, but I would think one that is faded is more desireable than one that is ripped up and shoddy
If it's not sold already, I'm still considering it... looking forward to seeing the pics

Re: My original steering wheel for sale
ok, thanks! I don't know if that's restorable or not, but i'm sure it's a nice wheel for somebody (like somebody who has a crappy RS wheel)

Re: My original steering wheel for sale
I left you positive feedback. It wouldn't let me rate but I guess that's because I was the seller leaving feedback for the you, the buyer. I think it lets you leave a rating with feedback if you're giving me feedback. Thanks again!
