Like the two tone interior.

I am guessing it will go for $22k.

Very nice, clean car. I always find it interesting that some people opted for crank windows on their Z28. Love the cassette player.

Probably end up getting purchased by someone who will be posting up his proposed 20 or 30 HP "mods" soon.

Only things missing are power windows, T roof and the original Eagle GT's (why would you replace them on a 279 mile car).
There must be a story to this car...

Regardless of the miles, at this age, any sane person, considering a sale would replace the battery and tires. The originals could have been cracked and no longer holding air. Many reasons to replace the tires. For originality sake, tires won't the value any.

Re: 279 MILE 1984 Z28 L69

I'm in the other camp on the tires. Unless of course your planning on taking it out on the highway, or going much above driveway speeds for that matter I like seeing original tires. To me is a stamp of a certification of very low miles. Not saying a person couldn't swap wheels when they drive them & put originals back on. That happens. But It would add value to me if I was looking at buying something like this, Well, unless of course the originals where so horribly bad they were not even safe enough to walk past above 15PSI. But thats kinda unlikely on examples like this. Its funny how some of these old tires hold up amazingly well over time & others crack & dry up like crazy. Not sitting on bare concrete for sure helps, & certainly not gravel or mother earth & lack of UV's a must.

I can see both sides of it though. Tires are so important for safely & drivability that the are no upsides on to leaving them on if your going to drive them. I still have VR's & ZR's on my 3rd gens. I traded all of the above safety for the original look, but I never drive at or even near highway sppeds. Look great, rides like crap & are somewhat risky. Just a mater of opinion & what you like I suppose.

I prefer original set and would consider paying more money for a car with them. I personally still have Gatorbacks on my 86. They are in great shape.
