Your car has aftermarket t-tops... It could be for that.

Did you try doing an internet search for Auto Options? I just did and found them. Columbus, Ohio. Looks like they do/did sunroofs and window tint. The work was done in July 1983, so it would've been either the dealership or the owner who sent your 83 there, so ev305 is probably right, for a C&C T-Top conversion.

No CC1 on the build sheet, your car has TTops, and the area directly behind the windshield appears wider than factory, so TTops it is!

In one of your pictures, the brown 3rdgen is parked next to a black 3rdgen. The black car has factory t-tops. Look how different they are from the t-tops in the brown car. That's what Auto Options did back in July 1983.
Nice find on the build sheet. And it's in nice condition too. Mine was a Norwood car too, but no build sheet. I've had all of the carpeting out of it, and there's only a mild document underneath the carpet in the floor of the rear storage well with some trim info on it, the likes of which I've never seen in all my years of tearing apart junkyard 3rdgens. I've found trim sheets and build sheets, but nothing like this. Oh, and an "inspected by" sticker LOL. It's, literally, STUCK face down to the metal after all these years of being down there and was too fragile to lift, as it began to shred when I tried, so I left it alone.
Edit: BTW, whatever the condition is of the headliner for those C&C T-tops that Auto Options installed, SAVE IT. It's impossible to replace that headliner today. If it ever needs repairing, then do whatever has to be done to repair it, no matter what.

From your build sheet, there is no CC1 option for factory T-tops.
Whoever purchased that car originally HAD to have T-tops, so the dealer sent it out to have them installed.
Choo Choo Customs was another one who performed the same surgery.
