Firebird Chassis Manual - 1984
I owned a 1972 Buick GS for 21 years. I had Chassis manual for that car which was so informative to helps make repairs.
I do have the GM service manuals (3 diff manuals) for the 1984 Pontiac vehicles. These are really meant for GM techs. They do not have layman-written instructions nor specs like the Buick Chassis manual nor the 1981 Cutlass manuals that I had.
I know u can purchase a manual from GM supplier in Detroit Mi. for 1984 Firebird. I have the order form & the company still supplies the Shop/Service Manual. It is HELM Inc., Highland Park Mi. Cost is almost $197.25 u.s. for the Shop/Service Manual. Original price was $18.90 u.s. Talk about inflation!! The Body manual was $15.00 (not available).
I am curious if the Pontiac Service manual (has several models of Pontiac vehicles) would be the same as the Firebird manual (Helm supplied)?
Do/did anyone of u fellows had/have the Helm supplied chassis/service manuals?
