Those tips / tail pipes just look wrong. The turn-down angle is too sharp.

I commented on the auction that those tips aren't installed improper. They are just 100% incorrect! There's no way to install the factory tips incorrectly and get what's seen here.
@Jim85IROC , good to see you back again. I haven't seen a post from you in years. Welcome back.

Love that color scheme. Almost bought one just like it in the late 90s. Those tailpipe are an eyesore but easy fix.

1992 would have been apart of the fuel tank recall. So that would explain it having a replacement fuel tank at some point. I am sure the fine upstanding technician at what ever dealer tasked with the install could probably have cared less about the intricacies of third gen F-body tail pipe and muffler alignment versus getting that thing out of his bay and life before something ancient and no longer available broke on it.

The tailpipes look correct for a 92’. The intermediate pipe to muffler joint needs to be loosened up and rotate the muffler/tailpipes upward to tuck them up where they belong. As was stated previously, the tech who did the gas tank just wasn’t careful about repositioning the muffler on the intermediate pipe. Easy fix though.
