Plentiful low mile original Third Gen's. Nobody drove these things?
I've been a car hobbyist for a long time. By far I see more low mile to ultra low mile Third Gens than any other makes or models. Right now there are 3 or 4 Camaros in the forum for sale section. eBay has a 6000 mile original about to end in minutes.
So what gives? Why so many? Nobody drove these things? It's not hard to find an original stunner Third Gen.

There are people like that. Just the way it is.
Anyway, they're coming out hiding because we're in the first big run up of pricing for this generation of car. It will keep happening from now on if prices don't fall again. And some of those owners are getting elderly now and it's time to think about cutting loose or go to the grave with it (at which time it'll be cut loose again).

Five digit odometer(early Models) being rolled over (100,000 miles) now a low mileage car to the uninformed.

Attrition. They built so many of these cars and the vast majority built are no longer on the roads, so many were bought as normal cars and drive them. So you're seeing the fringe few who survived, and the smaller fringe few that were stored away all these years. It may seem like saturation but the ones that are like that and come up for sale, are going to marketed towards enthusiasts. Average car buyer isn't going to cross shop a cross over and a 1992 Camaro RS. I have followed these cars for years and in reality, if you start looking for specifics, you see there are not many left out there. Still a bit, but nothing like it used to be.

While there are many low/no mile 3rd Gens, most of the GM cars put away from this era were Corvettes. I think that's part of why the supply-side is such, compared to asking prices. So many Corvettes. Fewer 3rd Gens. Especially the "hot ones"
