honestly have never seen these seats in a 86 iroc , pretty cool

I've never been able to find the logic in having different seats for the driver and passenger. It just looks goofy. Like someone pulled a driver's seat from another car in the junkyard and just tossed it in. Might be why those options were never very popular.

Weird! Looks like the driver's side is a sport seat out of a period Corvette, but the passenger's seat looks totally out of place next to it without the support and lumbar controls. According to the Camaro White Book, it was a $650 option available on Z28 only, with just *184* people ordering it! Rare indeed.

The White book also clams it to be a Z28 only option, but the 86 LS Conteur seat I owned was pulled from an 86 Sports Coupe. I found it online in a New Jersey junkyard before most people had an E-Mail account. A few years back I sold that seat to a local buddy of mine,...... he had it recovered with the Tan "Camaro" logo fabric. I sure wish I had a picture of it to post,... but I don't.

Symmetry would be nice for sure - but hey: one less thing to break. Many cheaper C4s have the passenger power adjustments conspicuously missing also, for instance. (And who gives a hoot about the passenger anyway :P)

I bet it's fun to drive! Being held in the seat has to make the twisties a lot more fun! I think it's a neat option! But I also agree that the passenger seat should match it
