Formula Magazine Ad
Like a lot of folks, sitting around with not much to do. Decided to try a little project I've been thinking about for a while. I always thought the Pontiac ad for the '87 Formula was pretty cool, so I produced a version with my Formula substituted for the yellow car originally in the ad. Thought I'd post it here and see what you all think.

Re: Formula Magazine Ad
Well, you had to order things just right to get the 5.7L, it wasn't a standard option on the Formula. That's probably what they were using as the basis for their claim.
The Photoshop looks pretty good. Need to add a little grainy effect to make the car look more like part of the add and less of a high resolution paste.

I'm going to start using words like "hi-potency", and "mega-dose", and quote engine specs in "fuel-injected Hp"

While I am sure your car is nice, that's a terrible picture with respect to lighting, plus the fence posts "growing" from the roof and back hatch.
Focus on the car, not "scenery" which does not matter. No pun intended.

Re: Formula Magazine Ad
Reviving an old post -
@rt66er Your awesome "photoshop" Formula ad made for fun debate on my FB Pontiac T/A group page - the pic was found on the internet by a member
that insisted it was a factory Pontiac original ad - point is once a "spoof" pic hits the internet you never know where/how it will be used - Luckily Pontiac cant get
involved in copyright infringement I must say it was AMAZING work because it looks like a "factory original" ad
