Yeah that's definitely weird. The CHEVROLET script is the right way, backwards, upside down, upside down AND backwards ...it's crazy.

These are the base factory seats that have been recovered in a non-factory type fabric. Ha not my cup of tea but, everyone had their own preferences.

That's what I thought too.....but fabric saying CHEVROLET all over it would surely need to be licensed by GM? The stitching matches the factory perfectly. I almost wondered if someone could have done that themselves with a stencil and fabric dye. I dunno....

Well, they aren't original in that car. If the door panels are original, the car had high back buckets originally, could be fabric someone used to reupholster the seats. Plenty of other GM cars and light trucks from the same time period had similar high back buckets. Could be from a Cavalier, S10/Blazer, etc. Can't tell from the pics if the sides/backs are cloth or vinyl. Vinyl would point to a more, uh... economical donor car. Could be from any time in the late 80's to mid 2000s.

I feel like a 4 year old trying to learn to read looking at those seats. It's so hard!
