1984 Z28 "Rare"?

I just got what i think is a screaming deal on an 84 Z28 5 speed. After running the RPO codes, which I will list on this post, I believe this may be a 1 of 1 car. AR9 AU3 A01 A31 A90 B18 B34 B35 B84 B9K B94 B97 CC1 CD4 C4B C49 C60 DK6 D02 D1J D34 D35 D42 D80 D88 E5Z E6E E9Z GU5 G80 J65 K19 K34 K64 LG4 MK6 MM5 NA5 NB1 NK3 NOD N33 N65 N90 QYH TR9 TT5 T63 T93 UA1 UL5 U21 U25 U26 U29 U35 VK3 V73 YR1 YT1 YT9 Y06 Z28 1AZ 16P 17C 171 179 19L 19U 6ZX 7ZX 74A 8NN 9NN.
So what I was getting at is that my car, a customer ordered car, an 84 Z28 with a 5 speed, posi, 4w disk brakes, power windows/ locks, T-tops, console analog clock, POWER RADIO ANTENNA, THAT IS A RADIO DELETE CAR! I was just wondering if anyone has seen a car ordered like this, my car also has the top console between the T-tops that has the dials for reminders. Any help would be awesome! thanks everyone!

There is an aftermarket radio in it now, it has what I thought was a power antenna but may be a manual one that is pushed down, but it still is a factory radio delete car

Re: 1984 Z28 "Rare"?

I don't know about now, but in the 80s, it was a practice for a dealer to get the sticker down by installing a radio in a delete car.

To me, a correct factory options car always has a bit more value than one that has had stuff tacked on later.

Re: 1984 Z28 "Rare"?

Over 100,000 Z28s were made in 1984. Kind of hard to call any of them rare.

Radio Delete is interesting but I don't think it substantially increases the value - if any at all.

I ordered my 87 IROC radio delete because the credit was so attractive & was planning on putting an aftermarket radio in it anyway.

I know it doesn't make it a "TV" car where it's worth crazy money, but I'm saying it has a low production option

Re: 1984 Z28 "Rare"?

if you look at first gen camaros or 70s vettes, a radio delete is a perk and will gain a bit of money. a 5 speed car can increase value on the right car by 15% or more if very rare. I
