I've seen this car advertised through out florida craigslist towns for a while now and the owner has had a hard time selling it. Wheels are not original, ad listing isn't 100% correct, price is steep for what it is. car isn't my cup of tea. it will take a specific buyer looking for that color combination with interior. maybe if it was a ttop is would be an easier sell.

Was That Air Cleaner Factory In 1985 On Firebirds With The L69,I've Read Otherwise,Was The Hood Configuration Changed From Previous Years.

Yes, that dual snorkel is correct for the 1985 Trans Am with the L69. Can't find literature to support that claim, but here's a YouTube video from Motorweek showing the 1985 Trans Am with L69 and the dual snorkel back in the day

The wing nut changed. Therefore the lid changed. Early cars have a flat lid and traditional wing nut, later cars have a bump in the middle, larger hole, and a fancy **** style nut.

The fancy nut is visible in the artist's rendition above.
