No more valuable than any other thirdgen based on model designation alone, and less valuable than others. Nothing special, value wise, in the future.

Im sure a GTA will bring a ittle more than a Formula or base Firebird just as that little "IROC-Z" badge will usually command a lil higher premium than a low optioned RS or equally optioned z28. When they were new you paid for those badges. I imagine restored in the future you will also.

I will agree with most of the above - however, the GTA being the Luxury vehicle of the bunch may lag slightly to the Performance oriented models - the Formula's, Z-28's & IROC-Z's in particular.

Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Re: Future values of GTAs in years to come

If today is any indication it appears to be the following order:
Firehawk -
TTA
IROC-Z or (91-92 Z28)
GTA
Trans Am
Z-28 (85-90)
Formula...

This might change as people realize that the GTA was not as performance minded as the Formula. (Not to toot my own horn) but the concept of the Formula was GTO of the 1980's, same premise, all performance, no frills.
