call me crazy, but I do not think that is to far out of whack for that car. Never been registered, limited production of the badest 3rd gen made! Although I am partial as I had a GN for several years and have always wanted one of these cars!

1989 Turbo T/As in good shape are worth a lot of bucks, but I think $54K is a bit steep IMO.

Agree with ya Stuart.....But my 88's hatch from day 1 wasn't the greatest fit and my TTA isn't much better.
START RANT: You drive a third gen, You know about these hatch problems, so what's the problem?
It goes along with all the "other" mis-aligned panels and bull that are common to these cars! END RANT
Have a great day!
PS: Yes.. that IS a lot of money for that one.

The front of the hood is a little high, note the cut line at the front clip. That could be adjusted some by screwing in the front hood bumper/stop post. It's also possible he didn't completely latch the hood down if he was taking photos of the engine bay first. As for the price, a agree with you. High $30s to the low $40K range seems more realistic to me.

Re: 700 MILE 89 TTA ON EBAY $54K ??
The passenger headlight being lower on the hood line seemed to be a common thing on the 88 and 89 models. My stock 88 GTA which was had 44k when I bought it and sold it with 48k had the same misaligned headlight cover to the letter.

A little time and effort and "know how" will take care of these small irregularities.
I done it.

Here's another 1989 Turbo T/A with 17,XXX on ebay. Hood fit looks a little better on this one but not perfect.

This thing could have fallen off a truck or been hit on a lot new... What "collector" would have been happy with that fit/finish as-is, when it was new?
Just because something has no mileage doesn't mean nothing banged into it and no work was done to it...
Just saying...
