Formula N10/MM5/GM3 UPDATE
A while back I posted a question about adding the facotry decals.
Well after considering your feed back I did add them and wanted to share a few pics. Also spent a few weeks stripping, polishing and refinishing the wheels. That was a huge pain but well worth it.
Now I have a facory correct car, and by the looks of things these are getting harder and harder to find, especially with the performance drive train options.
Thanks for the feed back and enjoy.

Car looks great! Where are you in NE Ohio? I'm in Akr-Canton area. Just picked up an 89 Formy 350 with 65k. I'm doing a some detailing on it and plan to use it as a summer driver. Do you go to any cruise ins with yours?

Re: Formula N10/MM5/GM3 UPDATE
Thanks! These cars are a blast, and I am happy to have the resources to save one. This car was pretty rough when I got it, but workable.
I plan on keep it for quite a while. My wife would kill me if I sold it, especially after all time I have into it.

Re: Formula N10/MM5/GM3 UPDATE
Just finished the car this fall, so I have not hit any cruise ins. However this year I plan finding a few to hit up. Any suggestions?
BTW is that Formy white?

Re: Formula N10/MM5/GM3 UPDATE
I do know the car somewhat. I have seen it around town the past two summers. Actually I saw the car advertised on craigs list back in august of 2012, and wanted to take a look at since I was looking for a Formula with all the performance goodies. I contacted the owner to set up a time to look at it, then he cancled on me because some deal he had going on a Mustang Cobra fell through, and he decided not to sell the Formula. Although He said I would be the first on his list if he ever did put it up for sale again. Well about a week later I bought the 5spd I have now, and never heard from the guy again. Well untill he showed up in my drive way one year later by chance. He was driving though the neighborhood one day (not in his Formula) and saw my car sitting in the garage and wanted to check it out. Anyhow we got to talking and then I reallized he was owner of the car I never got to look at.
He did tell me that for what ever reason he did replace the decals on the car, and I know the spoiler has been replaced also. I beilve the car is from Michigan originally, and he was the third owner. That is all I know about your car. Hope it was a good buy. From what I can tell it was well cared for. Although I never really looked at it close up.

I also have an 89 N10, MM5, GM3 Formula but my door stickers are different. I'm no expert on this, but I'm the original owner, so I know that mine are factory. Did they change styles midway that year? I don't think it makes a difference, but I ordered the stripe delete option.

Post a pic so we can compare. These are the factory replacements for this particular model, as far as I know. Every Formula this year that I have seen look just like mine.
I would be curious to see the difference.
Can anyone else chime in on this?

My mistake. They looked different on my phone. Now that I see them on my computer, they look like the ones I have too. Sorry! I attached some pics. (part of the 'R' on mine is missing in the picture).
Your car looks great. I'm planning on preparing mine for car shows over the winter. I hope I can get it as clean as yours! Nice job.

Hope the car cleans up well. I love that color combo. If you need a new decal, phoenix graphics has a decent price for the set for your car. I want to say around $160 or so. Clean it up and show it off. Not to many thirdgens at shows that I have stoped at the past few years. Mostly first & second gens, and a ton of vetts, mustangs and grand nationals. I did stop at a local cruise in after I finished the car this fall. A lot of people were surprised to see a clean example of these birds. It was very well received, so I guess all my work and time was worth it. Good luck!

Nice looking ride! I didn’t know the G92/N10 code was a big deal? What about a 1990 Iroc with the same codes.. rare .. collectible??
