Yummy! Things Like This Make Me Hate Being Poor!
Just Saw this on eBay. 1988 Metallic gray IROC-Z ,5.7L, 41,XXX miles. I love that color for some reason, cool looking car. But unless I win the lottery, it's way out of reach for me. Hope it finds a good home. Lots of good pix to download to my collection to look at later and wish I was rich!

Looks pretty good, but I think a better one could be had for $15k. By the looks of the pullies it's been either regularily driven in the rain, or was exposed to humidity by some other means.
It also says factory 3.42 axle ratio which is impossible. I believe all the 350's got the Australian 9 bolt, outfitted with either the 3.27 or the wimpy 2.77. Is there some way to verify? There's no SPID sticker in the ad. Gears make a huge difference in a 3400 pound car with 240 hp and an automatic trans.

Good looking Z.......
I also think you could buy a car like this for alot less direct from the owner, that said if you look at eveything else out there price wise, from Hot Rods to earlier musle cars, etc...... these Irocs are a super good value IMO

Looks like a nice car. Is it me or does the airtube look like it is off of the throttle body or ready to come off in the engine pics?
