How to tell if its a Formula?
I have a 1991 Pontiac Firebird. Title states its a Formula but I have been told the trim is not.
Any help would be appreciated.
Pics attached for referance.

The absolute answer would be to look for RPO code W66 on the SPID. W66 is the RPO code for Formula. The location of the SPID changed in 1991, so it could be in either of the following locations: 1)inside wall of center console 2)inside lid of the luggage compartment located on the driver's side rear area.
Firebird and Formula carry the same VIN prefix of 1G2FS, so it's not uncommon for titles to state both. Just as Trans AM and GTA share the same VIN prefix of 1G2FW.
Stock wise, your car is missing the Formula bulge hood and has Firebird emblems on both front fenders. Additionally, you have ground effects and Formulas don't have ground effects. These things indicate, if stock, that your vehicle is a base Firebird and not a Formula.

Seems like the car is rather stock with 255K on the odo and still the original TBI.
Thanks again!
