Re: Some '85, yellow IROC, updates.....
Just curious. A while ago, you installed the red buttons for the seat belts (recall kit, I assume).
Did you end up installing the stainless steel clips that the kit comes with?
I just replaced the red buttons in my 1987 IROC, and I'm debating whether I should put
in the metal clips. Some have had issues with the metal clips, so I'm wondering what others
experienced.
Thanks, John

Okay, I didn't put on those metal clips either. Somone mentioned that they may add stress to the plastic housing (and apparently cracked one),
and it looks more factory stock without them. Supposedly the metal clips protect the housing from wear over time, but I doubt that would be
a real factor for my low mileage car.
Thanks for the info!

Re: Some '85, yellow IROC, updates.....
I've been patching up the original exhaust on my '85 IROC as long as I can.
I've got an '89 N10 dual cat exhaust,(Y- pipe, cats, hanger, heat shield). I also have a single cat, factory cat back exhaust from another '89.
Things to consider on such a swap. Modifying the airpump tubes and mating the N10 front with the non-N10 back.
Anything else I should consider???
