Finally the rebuild of my 87 GTA

Alright guys heres my 87 gta build since i didnt post anything on my 454 camaro build i thought id show ya guys everything i did on this one!!
So heres some background info on the car. i bought it this past summer for 3400 dollars had about 9xxxx miles on it but it was a 350 tpi car had a paxton blower on it, rebuilt 700r4 and a 3.27 posi BW 9 bolt in her. so i figured not to bad of a deal. and to make it better it had fresh paint and wheels on it!!
Well unfortunetly about 3 weeks ago i was taking my girlfriend back to college and the rod started knocking, luckily i was able to makle it home. the original plan was to rebuild the original 350 forged bottom end big cam and good heads. but while searching craigslist about a week ago i found a 454 for sale, it was rebuilt and was sitting in a rotted out truck, i called he said he want about 400 to 500 for it?? i was like wow sounded to good to be true, well i guess not lol. i went out to check it out he starts it dead cold no smoke at all and it fired right up and sounded great, i was able to drive the truck it was in and man oh man it is a powerhouse! so i continued to talk with him about the engine after a $300 down payment he went on about how the bottom end was blueprinted and balanced.
After getting the motor home i decided to tear into it a bit because it was cosmetically the worst motor ive dealt with to date! i ran the numbers on the block and heads and there both from a 72 or 73 chevelle! how cool right!? i popped the valve covers off to find an almost new set of crane 1.72 roller rockers with manley push rod guides! this just keeps getting better! btw the heads are 049 oval port castings. and the bottom end is stock but balanced with a 30 over forged piston. here are some pics of my tear down and my old motor. the plan is a 454 t56 combo! i have almost all the parts picked out and ready to order!! let me know what ya guys think!
