Got my car back

Okay so a few months ago my car was stolen from me and I had just put a brand new 350 in it . I get it back and the carb housing , hood and radiator are gone and some other things but I want to keep this engine and one of my friends said since they didn't drain the coolant it might be in my cylinders
Is ere any way to find out ? Can it be fixed if so?

Re: Got my car back

Take out the spark plugs and turn the engine over. That will get any coolant in the cylinders out.

Re: Got my car back

if they stole your radiator then almost all the coolant should have drained out as soon as they removed the lower hose any coolant left should be left in the block and heater core. there shouldnt be any coolant in the cylinders unless the bashed on it and overheated the engine causing head gasket damage, if so you can remove the plugs and turn the engine by hand with a lone ratchet or breaker bar.
