Why are the 4 -
1988 1le's such a mystery? Who has one? RPO was not listed only option level 0.

Yes, my friend knows the owner of the two in TX and says they were mint when he saw them a few years ago. IIRC, it's one red and one black, one 305/5Spd and one 350/Auto. I also recall that he was allowed to drive one of them or both. He's tried to buy one but has gotten nowhere even though he's willing to pay alot, they are both collectors and know exactly what the cars are. I don't think I'd let that kind of car go just yet either though.

All cars (4 camaros and 3 TA's) have code 1LE on the RPO sticker (and window sticker.) The two texas cars are 350's (and so is the Missouri car.). I don't know where the lone 5 speed camaro is. FWIW, I heard the 5 speed car was raced.
