Re: IROC movie
Its kinda cool but not really worth 18 bucks if you ask me. It was a show on TV awhile ago so its about an hour long episode. Two teams both given identical 350 TPI irocs. They had to mod them and see which one was faster by the end. Interesting but eh.

Re: IROC movie
I bought one from ebay also. The cover says 88 IROC, but the picture on the cover is a 91-92. Show was lame, both teams got identical parts. one car was a hard-top, one was t-top. Guess who won?

Re: IROC movie
I vaguely remember watching it on History when it was new, or maybe it was Discovery? The series was pretty short lived, and the episode in question wasn't very entertaining or informative. I probably wouldn't watch it again if it were on tv, and I wouldn't spend money on it.

Re: IROC movie
Well guys, i watched it, i would say its definitely worth watching(especially since i got 2 copies for 4 bucks) more for the "History" aspect you get to see parts of the old Iroc Races, and they talk about how the mustang came out first but by 69 the camaro was out selling it and all that jaz, it was pretty interesting,
i do agree that the show as a whole was retarded(any episode) because they give both teams the same parts, only at the end to the give an option of 3 different parts, but both teams choose the same one
only difference between the two Irocs here was one decided to use the stock radiator, but that didnt play a factor in the end result
yes the hardtop wins, but i think it was only because the older guys thought manually shifting the auto would make a better time, but we all know how sloppy the stock shifters can be and how easy it is to skip gears
.......................................................
P.S. the kids making the Hardtop are Import tuners vs. the older "Muscle car" guys. Neither team sound stupid but the announcer and show hosts kind of dumb things down and it sounds stupid, but that parts more for kids watching to understand how Superchargers,Exhaust,Radiators Work and how they help
Oh and did i mention all they say through the whole show is how the IROC-Z was the Top camaro all the way through 2002, and it was the best and most recognized "Pony car" of all time, you gotta love that part
