It's a little too soon for pics, but it's the spittin image of yours. I've posted some partial pics of it under the thread "Barn Find?" It's hard to tell, but when I parked it in '97, I left a thick coat of Carnuba on the nose to protect it from the cover. As you can see I buffed it off around the Headlights on the drivers corner, but have got a lot of work to do before trying to fire it up! I'm flushing the complete Fuel system, as well as changing the Fluids, Plugs, etc. plus Oiling the block prior to start-up. Then I'll clean her up, and post some fresh pics! By the way, That's a very nice Z you've got!

The car was total in 2001 as discussed in the link below. Several months at the body shop and the car was back on the road by late April of 2002.

Title says "unknown" -however, my best guess is 63k miles or 163k miles. It has been in Alaska most of its life.
Most people don't drive cars like these year or very far town; roads have gnarly heaves during summer months.
The way it runs and feels fairly tight (other than needing new idler arm and front struts), my guess would be closer to 63k miles.

I posted photos of it a while back in the members camaros section. I bought it from a guy in Georgia without checking it out in person. There are a few things that I wasn't happy about when it was delivered but over all it is in great shape and thats the risk you take when you do that. The RPO sticker under the center console lid is missing and I am suspicious that it was in a fender bender some time in its life because the left fender is a GM replacement part. The original owner passed away in 2008 so I can't ask him. I can't locate the VIN tag on it or the hood like all the other body parts. Fortunately I have the original window sticker with most of the RPO codes on it. I always wanted a blue 5 speed G92 IROC. When I finally found this one I jumped on it. This car has sat in garages for the most part for the last 14 or 15 years. I had to replace the tires even though they still had 75% of the tread because the ones that were on it were made in 1999 and were as hard as hockey pucks. Its fun but I don't drive it very much. I have only put 1700 miles on it since I bought it last August. I have to admit I am not enjoying it as much as I thought I would.

Mine is an 89 hardtop automatic 350. We got it new in June 1989. Here is last year...
I have been working on it since May 2012 when I sold my 2010 SS.
It's almost done. Mechanically it is done. Like I said, it's in for paint as we speak. I think I'll check on it Thursday.

My Formula has 90,237. Dry as a bone underneath and runs smooth as silk @ 21mpg. The TBI is no rocket but is certainly a good reliable setup. Added the cold air intake from the 83-84 trans am, flowmaster exhaust, and a shift kit and it seems to run a little better. Had a 91z28 5.0TPI that has 300k miles on it and still going!

1984 Z28 L69 225xxx last time I checked. Original engine and drivetrain still. Paint is pretty beat and the passenger fender has seen better days, but it runs and drives still. just did a complete top end gasket kit.

It's a shame you live in MS. I took my car out one brisk fall evening shortly after buying it, and the response of the TBI with the cold air (temps in the 40's/50's) was like a kick in the pants. The car felt like it had 40 more hp.

I can definitely tell the difference in the fall and winter. Our summer is so hot and humid. When I used to drag race a lil id see as much as 2-3 tenths difference in 1/4 mi timeslips with nothing different but the temperatures and humidity outside.

~103,000 miles. Bought it at ~80,000 5 years ago. The drivetrain is solid as a rock especially since it's TBI, but the paint & body is rough due to this 'bird living here in Denver all its life (we get a LOT of hail).
