Canadian GTA digital Dash?
I couldn't find the answer to this one through the search...
Look at the pic of the digital dash...the oil pressure and coolant are in metric measurements...
Is this rare?

OK...so to clarify.
This was an export option dash, then?
I bought this to replace some parts on my GTA dash, but decided to wait a long while on the resto and am guaging if this is worth any more than a regular GTA digital dash.
Since I live in the US, I hadn't ever seen one like this before.
Anyone on here actually have one?

All Third-Gens sold in Canada had metric instruments. It was (and still is) required by law. Canadian equipped cars have the RPO code Z49.
Canadian cars with digital dashes aren't particularly rare.. I don't have one, but I've seen quite a few. There were fewer third gens sold in Canada with 1/10 the population of the US,, but I'm sure the ratio of digital to analog dashes were similar..
The analog dashes were metric too. The water temp is in degrees celsius and the oil pressure is in Kilopascals. The speedometer face had km/h on the outer ring and mph on the inner ring (reverse of US speedos). The digital dash has a switch which allows you to select MPH or Km/h.
I imagine if you could pick up the plastic faces for the oil pressure and water temp and replace them, you'd never know it was a metric dash

Thanks Jim...
I haven't had my GTA on the road in a while and forgot about the US/Metric switch for the dash...
I suppose that this has value because it all works

The only RARE-ISH export option on the gta are the DD7 paddle mirrors.I haven't seen many of them here in the u.s because they were mainly a export option.
