pontiac historic services-window sticker ?
i know that you can get a repoduction window sticker from PHS. Has anyone done this? If so, does the window sticker look exactly like the original, with all of the fine print and all of that stuff? Does it list all of the options that were listed on the original window sticker?
I am just debating on whether to spend the money on one or not, I think it would be very cool to have.....just to have.

I have never gotten one myself, but from what I've heard, the repro window stickers are not always accurate. I'm sure PHS has a vast database of original window stickers to examine from all years, so of course they will have the correct default fine print, the default text about gas mileage that year, the EPA, the dealer, etc. But as far as listing *ALL* your options and being ACCURATE about it, I wouldn't trust them 100%, especially if your car has unusual features. They should be able to come close though.
I'd love to see a side by side of an original window sticker and a PHS sticker of the same car. Anyone ever done this?

I have both window stickers for my red '88 GTA.... and, yes, the PHS reproduction sticker is an exact duplicate.... right down to the style and sizes of fonts used. In fact, I have PHS stickers for all three of my GTAs.
An excellent investment in my opinion....

I just got the PHS packet for my TTA yesterday. It took about 3 weeks to get it and it looks great. I ordered an extra copy of the window sticker (laminated) for display at shows. It included some TTA specific informational documents as well as a press photo too. I also got a letter stating the build # of the car. Well worth it in my opinion.

Go to www.phs-online.com for info on the stickers.
The TTA packet was $35 plus $13 for an extra copy of the window sticker in laminated form.

Their pricing confuses me. I see that the info packet is $35 and the window sticker is an extra $35. Is that right? Or is it all for $35?

i dont think that you get the window sticker with the info packet...i think that it's an xtra 35 bucks..im not sure though...but in order to be able to get the reproduction window sticker you will have had to previously ordered the PHS Information Packet..which i think is a bunch of crap.
you cant just order the window sticker, you have to buy the packet first.

I paid $35 for the window sticker, press photo, certified build # letter and some other miscellaneous paperwork. I am not sure if this is a special packet for TTAs or if this is the same pricing for all of the Pontiacs.

There's a guy lives a few blocks north of me has a '68 Firebird, Red/Black Conv top. Rarely see it but it's flawless. I don't know if it's original or restored. He takes it out about as much as I take my car out and I'm still waiting to meet him on the road one day and talk to him.
