Aluminum Direct Fit 3 Row Radiator (Champion)

Any interest in reviving this one? Doesn't look like it went through last time, but I've got a guaranteed 2 out of 10 if we can get 8 more!

I would like to get it submitted by end of November, or first week of December depending how quick we can get to 10. That should be long enough to get interest and give a chance for folks to get funds.

From the old thread:

Champion Radiators have been getting really good reviews and the 3 row looks to be a direct fit bolt-in (only need to cut isolators and maybe thread adaptors if you want to use the auto trans cooler) unlike Summit Racing one.
Installed Pics and Write Up Stickied on Cooling Forum (So you guys want a bolt in all aluminum 3 core radiator?)

I will verify these are correct still, might have gone up some since his eBay prices did.

$185 + Shipping for a 3 Row (no fans)
$215 + Shipping for a 3 Row (2 12" fans [those cost him $30 extra])
$330 + Shipping for a 3 Row (2 12" fans and fan shroud)

Basically looking at $20 to $40 cheaper than normal eBay price.

If you can FOR SURE have this $ for this, post up! Thanks!

Orders:
1) OUTATIME GTA (fans w/shroud)
2) slowgta (radiator only)
3) Copchaser (fans w/shroud)
4) DAREDEVIL 1 (radiator only)
5) Flightoficarus (2-core radiator)
6)
7)

Re: Aluminum Direct Fit 3 Row Radiator (Champion)

Slight update after talking to Geoff!

If we get just 4-6 orders, he said just add $10 to each option!

Prices reflected below for that and should definitely possible!

$195 + Shipping for a 3 Row (no fans)
$225 + Shipping for a 3 Row (2 12" fans [those cost him $30 extra])
$340 + Shipping for a 3 Row (2 12" fans and fan shroud)

These go from him on eBay for about $220-$380 respectively.

Anybody??

Added, thanks!

I don't recall an indefinite answer, or stock cfm, but his ad does state:

Re: Aluminum Direct Fit 3 Row Radiator (Champion)

if i order 1 here..i would save 25 bucks ....but if something is wrong, would i get a waranty from u or would it be worth 25 bucks to order from champion on e-bay ????

Just sayin, bro not trying to start a fight !

Also on the fan thing, theyr on e-bay for 30 bucks + shiping incl shroud and mounting ....

So please explain the $ differents between 195 and 340, or is it a typo and should say 240 ??? that would make sense if u order 10 of them !!!!?????

Thanks

No worries, I'm guessing you may not have done a GP before. You aren't purchasing from me, or giving me any funds.

When we have enough orders, you call and order from Geoff (ledfoot_racing) and once I tell him all have called, he will discount and process the orders accordingly. Savings are more like $35+ it seems from the ebay auctions.

I don't see any cfm rating on the fans you've posted, or shroud, just "mounting hardware". What are you going to bolt the fans onto?
You're more than welcome to just buy the radiator and piece together with whatever fans and shroud setup you desire, that's why there are 3 options.

The $195 is just the radiator, add $30 if you want that plus just fans. The $340 is for the entire setup with shroud. Visual below from the vendor so you can see the difference.

OK, thanks..now can u tell me why i would need a shroud..i mean isnt it better to have thru flow on the go ??? This way the fans have to do all the work ?? NO ???

Just asking, sorry..but i dont see ( only me ) a 100+ dollar aluminum plate with 2 holes ?? but if needed and better then yes. PLEASE EXPLAIN !!!

I will 100% take one, just do not know which one ...fans yes, but shroud ????

Re: Aluminum Direct Fit 3 Row Radiator (Champion)

I believe you would get the most out of your efan and radiator with a properly fitted shroud.

I'd also say you'd want a shroud especially if you're going with a blower/turbo. Things tend to heat up really quick with boost.

Re: Aluminum Direct Fit 3 Row Radiator (Champion)

so is my theory wrong..when i say without shroud, in drive u will have more cooling survace ???

i mean if u open a window in your house to let air in....then u stick a piece of plywood infront with a hole ( opening 75% ) and set a fan behind it to pull air ...which is more eficiant ??? ( ok..since the car is moving lets say at 50 MPH ..we will have to have a windy day blowing right at the window !!!!
I dont think i am going with the shroud...but i will order just the radiator..so count me in for the $ 195 !!!!! THANKS !!!

Yes. I'm not here to sell you on anything however. There is plenty of information within the boards and/or Google (shroud or not).

Putting you down for 1 radiator only.

Definitely, added.

Keep 'em coming folks. If we get 7 we save $5 more off each option. ($190/$220/$335)

Around this time next week I will confirm with the company we are ready to order and will let you guys know to start calling in and placing your order.

You will have 3-5 days at that time to call and order. They will then process discount and orders.

Almost ready, waiting on a call back from Geoff on quantities.

He also mentioned there are Champion 2-row Aluminum available for $145 if folks are not needing the 3 which he has to check stock on. Anybody want those instead?

I'll keep y'all posted.

2row.. 3 row.. is there that much difference? stock is 2 row right? so we get an all aluminum stock radiator for 145 as opposed to the glued on crappy stocker...

Correct.
2-row alum great stocker replacement. Greater cooling needs may warrant the 3-row. He has a lot of 2's, low on 3's.

Re: Aluminum Direct Fit 3 Row Radiator (Champion)

OK folks - LET'S DO THIS!

Please call in your order to Geoff as soon as possible.

(714) 612-9799

He will fulfill them as soon as possible once the deadline is met.

You have until next Tuesday, December 7th to call.

I told him 4-6 orders, so we need at least the 4.

DAREDEVIL has taken care of his.

I will take care of mine tomorrow.

Please post up in here once ordered. I will email/call you if I do not see by this weekend.

Thanks all!
